At VDL Belgium, 15 CNC tube-bending machines enable us to bend all kinds of tube shapes.

The tube shapes that can be bent by us:

• Round
• Square
• Rectangular
• Oval
• And more pleat shapes

The diameters and dimensions are variable up to a maximum size of Ø160 mm. The combination of radius, dimensions and wall thickness determines manufacturability. Using special techniques such as “Boost-bending”, we can achieve bend radii of up to 0.8 × the diameter (e.g. diameter D=127, radius R=100).

Fold materials

We process a wide range of materials, including stainless steel (ferritic and austenitic), aluminium, copper alloys, and coated or uncoated steel tubes with wall thicknesses from 1 mm. Using special bend-in-bend techniques, we can bend closely successive bends, enabling us to produce higher-quality, more cost-effective products.
